I’ve been a professional interior designer for 18 years and in that time I’ve been fortunate to design and work on a wide range of creative projects.

These include hotels, commercial headquarters, residential interiors, galleries, universities and restaurants. I’ve worked at 3 award winning London architects as a senior designer and associate director. I’m now self employed which gives me the flexibility to work my career around my family. I’m lucky to have met many talented designers and technicians throughout my career that I call upon to collaborate and work with on larger scale projects.

What I absolutely love about interior design is creating unique environments to suit all kinds of different people with different requirements. One project might entail designing a boutique hotel, the next project could involve reimagining the layout of a cottage that has undergone numerous extensions, resulting in a disjointed flow within the space. Variety in my work not only keeps things interesting but also allows me to approach each new project with a fresh perspective, giving me the opportunity to explore different design concepts, techniques and solutions.

Interior design is a balance of many elements such as sunlight, privacy, acoustics, aesthetics, storage, flow and of course timing and budget. Seeing the result of all the decisions come together is what motivates me to help more people enjoy the spaces they inhabit. It’s incredibly exciting seeing the reactions of my clients when they move into and start using their new space.
